Anderson County Fire Department

210 McGee Road
Anderson SC 29625
Phone 864-260-4016

On behalf of the entire Anderson County Fire Commission, welcome our website. For more than 40 years this countywide system has worked to provide the citizens of Anderson County with the best fire protection possible. Please take a moment to read the history of our fire system on the homepage of our website.

Currently, the task of fire protection is accomplished by more than 850 volunteer firefighters responding from 28 stations throughout the county. These dedicated firefighters along with the Headquarters staff responded to over 4000 emergency calls in 2006. Our current fleet of apparatus consists of 61 engines, 28 tankers, 30 grass trucks, 3 ladder trucks, and numerous service vehicles. We are always looking for folks who are willing to volunteer their time to become part of the Anderson County Fire Service. If you would like to get more information please contact our Headquarters at 260-4016 at anytime or just stop by and see us at 210 McGee Road. We would like to give you a tour of our facility.

Again, thank you for visiting our website. If we can be of any assistance to you, please do not hesitate to contact us by clicking on the divisions tab on our homepage.
